Artwork Guidelines

Prepare your fabric printing file with clear dimensions, the latest artwork revision and the right material details.

TIFF / PDF300 DPI · RGBFinal size: width × heightConfirm requirements for your selected print process.

Four checks before sending your file.

01

Export the artwork

Preferred files are TIFF or PDF at 300 DPI in RGB. From Procreate, export a TIFF or PDF at 300 DPI. Keep the current revision clearly named.

02

State the print size

Include final width × height and units. Explain whether the design is a repeat, border or placement print, and supply relevant measurements.

03

Check the fabric

Share composition, usable width and quantity. Confirm suitability before sending your own fabric; white fabric may be required for the chosen method.

04

Keep references together

Include colour references and any approved sample. Screens do not show the final shade and surface response on fabric.

SAMPLE CANVAS GUIDE

Match the file to the intended width.

44-inch fabric44″ × 39″ canvas
60-inch fabric60″ × 39″ canvas

These are existing sample canvas references. Confirm usable print width and dimensions for your order. The general minimum sample order is 5 metres, with up to five canvases or designs where applicable.

Sending your own fabric?

Confirm suitability and setup allowance first. The existing guide asks for an extra metre for shrinkage and machine setup where applicable.

Inside the parcel, include your name, contact number, fabric name, width and quantity in metres.

Questions before you begin

Can I send a screenshot as the final artwork?

A screenshot may help explain an idea, but send the original print file with dimensions for production review. Enlarging a small reference does not recover missing detail.

Should I approve colour only on a screen?

Use a physical reference or sample on the intended fabric for important colour decisions. Monitor appearance and the finished textile can differ.

What if my file requirements are different?

Share your file and selected printing method with the team. Resolution, dimensions and preparation should be confirmed for the actual job before production.
